Newssuper:Following the cutting of the Ganga river embankment between Sakrigali and Moharajpur in Malda Division, Eastern Railway’s teams, under the leadership of Ms. Gitika Pandey, General Manager, Eastern Railway, are working with determination to protect the affected stretch and restore normal train services.
Shri Shibram Majhi, Chief Public Relations Officer, Eastern Railway, shares an update on the situation, explaining that trains are being operated at restricted speeds. Officers and engineers from Headquarters and Malda Division are coordinating protection and restoration efforts, while railway personnel continue placing boulders to help check riverbank erosion.
