Under the guidance of Ms. Gitika Pandey, General Manager, Eastern Railway, a workshop on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) was organised by the Personnel Department, Eastern Railway Headquarters, at UDISHA Auditorium, Fairlie Place, Kolkata, on 5 November 2026.
The workshop was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Mahua Verma, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
The programme focused on strengthening awareness about the prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace, encouraging responsible conduct and highlighting the importance of dignity, accountability and mutual respect in professional environments.
Through such initiatives, Eastern Railway continues to promote a workplace culture where every employee feels respected, valued and secure.
