Newssuper 5th October 2026: Under Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 and Special Campaign 6.0, Asansol Division carried out intensive cleaning at Raniganj, Panagarh, Suri, Durgapur, Pandabeswar, Andal, Jasidih and Baidyanath Dham stations.
At Raniganj, Platforms 1 and 2 were deep cleaned using high-pressure water jets and scrubber machines, alongside thorough sanitation of the platform toilet. Cleaning also covered Suri’s adjoining railway colony and drains at Andal Railway Colony.
With railway personnel and frontline staff participating, the drive strengthened the upkeep of passenger facilities and residential areas through mechanised cleaning and focused sanitation.
