Newssuper : Under Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 and Special Campaign 6.0, Howrah Division conducted intensive cleanliness drives at Howrah, Dankuni, Azimganj, Shrirampur, Sheoraphuli, Adisaptagram, Pundooah, Mogra and Boinchi, with railway staff actively participating in waste removal and upkeep of railway premises.
Special attention was given to toilet and drain cleaning at Bandel and public toilet sanitation at Shrirampur. Waste collection at Shrirampur was also strengthened through emptying bins and replacing damaged liners.
Passengers and railway users are encouraged to support these efforts by disposing of waste responsibly and helping keep shared spaces clean.
