The event was a dynamic, collective endeavour by the students of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and dedicated Railway Employees, aimed at refreshing the market and appreciation for India’s indigenous craft heritage, demonstrating the versatility of the fabric. In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, Railway Employees enthusiastically modelled the garments.
This special initiative deeply resonates with the core philosophy of Vocal for Local, promoting Handloom and Handicraft as a pillar of national pride and economic growth.
The fashion show was a powerful statement on responsible consumption, showcasing how Indian handloom stands as a true model for sustainable and eco-friendly fashion. The use of Khadi and Handloom Garments has the following benefits…..
