Newssuper, Report Tania Kundu Kolkata,26.October: Eastern Railway, Sealdah Division has decided to withdraw the stoppages of four (4) pair of Mail/Express trains at Bidhannagar Road station. This necessary measure is being implemented with immediate effect from the dates specified below, primarily to enhance passenger safety, streamline train operations, and address the acute space constraints on the station platform.
The decision has been taken after careful consideration of the operational challenges and the limited platform capacity at Bidhannagar Road, which often leads to overcrowding and inconvenience, particularly during the halt of Mail/Express services.
