Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ERWWO), Sealdah Division, celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with a grand felicitation ceremony held at “Manthan” Sealdah. The event was organized to recognize the pivotal role of women in the railway workforce and to promote their overall well-being.
During the ceremony, 31 female employees hailing from various departments of Sealdah Division were formally introduced and felicitated for their outstanding dedication and exemplary service. In recognition of their contributions to the growth and operational efficiency of the division, each awardee was presented with a Certificate of Merit and a Token of Appreciation.
The awards handed over by *Smt. Nidhi Saxena, President /ERWWO/Sealdah*, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, Smt. Saxena described the event as highly encouraging and vital for boosting the morale of the workforce. She emphasized that empowered women are the backbone of a progressive organization and lauded the awardees for balancing professional excellence with personal responsibilities.
