Newssuper:Today at about 00.15 hrs received a secret source information that some persons are coming from Ranaghat towards Birnagar area in a white vehicle along with fire arms for committing any crime at Anandanagar area under Taherpur PS. Receiving this information myself along with other officers and force started checking vehicles at Birnagar Boro Bazar area under Taherpur PS. After a while noticing the police party a vehicle tried to flee the area but we managed to stop the vehicle and apprehended four persons, two persons were sitting at the back side of the vehicle and one person namely Narayan parui was driving and another person namely Raju parui was sitting beside him. On search one fire arms loaded with one round ammunition was recovered from one person namely Soumodip@soumo sitting in the back side of the vehicle and two ammunitions were recovered from the other person namely Sujon sitting at the back of the vehicle. On interrogation they failed to produce any documents related to their possession and also confessed that they were going to commit crime at Anandanagar area under Taherpur PS. All the articles including the vehicle ( four wheeler mahindra VEEZO white colour WB 15L/5822 and 04 android mobile were seized under proper seizure list and the apprehended persons were arrested maintaining all formalities and brought to PS. A specific case will be started against them under proper section of law. This is for kind information.
