Followed by the recent observance of International Women’s Day 2026, Health and Family Welfare Dept. of Sealdah has reinforced its commitment to staff welfare by organizing a comprehensive health screening camp at B.R. Singh Hospital.
The initiative focused on the long-term health and preventive care of contractual healthcare women staff and women personnel who involved in patient management. By extending health services beyond the calendar holiday, the department aims to foster a culture of continuous health awareness.
In the camp provided essential diagnostic services to ensure the physical well-being of the frontline workforce and monitoring of height, weight, random blood glucose (RBG), and ECG.
In a significant move toward preventive oncology, the camp featured Cervical Cancer screening via Pap smear tests.
This wellness drive underscores the Sealdah Division’s ongoing dedication to the women who form the backbone of the medical services at B.R. Singh Hospital.
By prioritizing advanced screenings like Pap smears, the administration ensures that those who care for patients are themselves well-cared for.
